A presentation of ARTS ALIVE ON LICHTIN PLAZA; Art on the Edge is a new performing arts festival encompassing a broad spectrum of colorful work that falls within, between, and sometimes beyond the standard categories of theater, dance, performance art, and music. Local, national, and international performers will present new, different, thought-provoking visions that expand the boundaries of their art forms. Performing artists and musicians interested in being considered for First Night Raleigh 2009 or other future Artsplosure events may submit promotional materials to Artsplosure's program director for consideration. Booking for First Night Raleigh 2009 will be completed by late summer.
